This is not a case of simple negligence or I didnt know this was happening. This is Gross Negligence by Ron Mastin and John Caussin. I'm not sure when Fairfax Fire will learn it's lesson that they are not insulated from the law. I like how the previous poster said it as these so-called leaders hide away in their offices only to be shielded by as incompetent PIOs.

These idiots need to call Statter stat and take his advice on media relations. Here is an interesting link with more docuements. http://firelawblog.com/2011/05/fairfax-county-sexual-harassment-double-header/

And Fairfax County citizens - Do these guys a favor by asking for the immediate resignation of Ron Mastin and John Caussin. They will be fine in their lives and will learn to deal with it. Caussin will go away with a 100K plus annual pension and Mastin will have a 200k plus annual pension.

Someone needs to post email addressed to the board of supervisors and these clowns of a chief demanding immediate removal!

I agree. Just resign and go away. Let the rest of us that really care about this department rebuild it.

This is just the beginning of what is yet to come!! Maybe disabled Firefighters whos belongings get thrown in a dumpster should come forward and really blow the lid off cover ups!!

There is a difference between disabled and addictive!

Addictive or an addict? There are many FF's that have an addiction problem...what's your point?

Once again, FCFRD's upper management is taking the "politically correct, let's not disturb the hornets nest" approach to this situation. I am going to say one thing fellas, our upper management has a serious case of " We are better then you" attitude. Do you where this is pervasive? Some of the political figures such as Nancy Polosi's and Harry Reid's of so called political leaders. That is it!! Our leaders don't give a damn about us or the department. Their "impressive" resumes and work stories will rather take no actions and let the stink over take our livelihood. Frankly I grieve for the rest of us who will have to leave with this latest addition to the fine legacy. Are you Fing kidding? Wake up and smell the coffee!! I will say this because if you don't offer a solution to the problem then he point is mutte. it is time to look outside and get someone who is objective to lead this agency. Second and this is a challenge to me and the rest of our "middle" level experienced employees. Let's learn from this debacle and move on. Study hard so that you may put yourselves in the situation so that we can assist other fine employees to carry on the good name of the American fire service. Only that will drag FCFRD out of this sink hole that it is in. It will take a while but we can do it.
