Wow working for our Administration now I see. Yeah you guys are right, this is a 'black-eye' but I think the whole point is being missed. We all would love to move on, but the girl is entitled to access the judicial system, just like anyone can. Keep in mind her persistence is not without huge costs. Sure its a gamble and shes wagering a little to gain hopefully alot. Sad but necessary. I wonder if the county has ever considered telling the truth. Man that would make this black-eye all go away.
"Huge cost"?? Her lawyers only get paid if she wins money. Spicoli, I guess you are accepting as true everything that is said in her legal paperwork? Hmmmmm. Do you KNOW the allegations to be true, or do you just WANT them to be true because you thrive on the negativity? Go rent FTARH and laugh a little....and see fiction for fiction.
Say listen why dont you call a certain victorious Battalion Chief whom utilized her services AND WON his discrimination suit against your Uncle Fairfax and ask him how exactly she works. Hahaha......hahaha , yeah shes FREE until she brings home what ya want...hahaha...good one Ian good one.
Just read the 27 page doc. All I can say is "WOW" In this day and age grown men in a respected profession, a highly respected profession act like this? Comning from three generations of firefighters not even the old timers can believe this. If even half of this is true you guys got some big problems on your hands. I hope the county is not allowing you to work in mixed company.
Jeff: I am good thanks...and that certain lawyer sat throughout the Getts/Bland trial with her hands neatly folded on the table while her partner did all the work. She's a minion....just like you and me. She just makes a little more money. Ellen is evidently a "cause" lawyer...not a trial lawyer, but I hear she writes a mean letter for $200/hour.

This is totally unacceptable and those involved should be run out of town on a rail by the decent people of this department.
How management can tolerate this behavior is beyond comprehension. People get a life.

Ian -- I don't know what you mean by cause lawyer but I think you are just jealous that you don't get paid to make Uncle Fairfax do the right thing.
